The download of a Safety Data Sheet from our website is free.
A chemical user, by law, must have , available on their premises a FULL copy of the SDS.
Should you decide to also make a copy of Pages 1&2 of the safety data sheet. Print double sided and laminate if desired.
Click here for an example. These 2 pages may be printed double sided on a single page
File the summary you have made yourself at reception or where you receive goods. A file containing these summaries should have a notice on the front of the file indicating exactly where the full copy is for ready access.
Laminated, these summaries you have made yourself from the original SDS, may be sent out by a science technician with the suite of chemicals for any particular experiment. For instance an experiment involving sodium hydroxide, would have a laminated “card” with the safety instructions for sodium hydroxide to hand in case of emergency with the full SDS available on demand from a close ,central location. You may also print and highlight eg with a yellow highlighter, what responses to make
EG for the sodium hydroxide example above, section 2 shows:- ( the yellow highlights you may add yourself before laminating)
